By downloading, installing or using JConfig, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any point, do not install the app.
What JConfig is
An independent app for head units in compatible Chery group cars, distributed directly from this site, with no app store involved. It is a personal project, not a carmaker's product.
We are not the manufacturer
JConfig has no link, sponsorship, approval or affiliation with Chery, its brands or DesaySV. The trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners and appear here only to identify compatibility.
Licence to use
You receive a personal license to use the Free plan and, after an approved purchase or an authorised courtesy activation, a lifetime Premium license linked to one vehicle. You may not resell, redistribute, charge for copies or bypass plan verification.
Compatibility
The app is compatible with Chery group cars. Confirmed models so far are Jaecoo 7, Omoda 5, Omoda E5, Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8. Compatibility may vary with the vehicle, head unit and system version. If your model is not listed, ask the community before installing or purchasing.
Road safety
Some of the settings the app stores and reapplies relate to driver assistance systems. Do not disable safety systems on public roads. Keeping the vehicle safe and road-legal is your responsibility, and no feature of the app replaces the attention of whoever is driving.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation or future compatibility. Updates from manufacturers or DesaySV may change APIs, permissions, interfaces or behaviour and interrupt or remove app features. This does not limit statutory warranty or rights concerning defects, breach of offer or compensable damage.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including data loss, head unit downtime or effects on the vehicle warranty. Your relationship with the carmaker and the dealer remains between you and them.
Premium, purchase and licence
Premium initially has a base price of R$ 599 through Mercado Pago or US$ 129 through Stripe, as a one-time payment per vehicle with no automatic renewal. The country derived from the IP address routes the provider: requests from Brazil receive Mercado Pago and all others receive Stripe; if the regional option is unavailable, checkout may show the other configured processor. These are independent offers in different currencies; the price, discount and total shown at checkout apply to the purchase. The licence is personal, lifetime and linked to one vehicle; it may not be resold, redistributed, copied or used to bypass verification. Before leaving JConfig for the indicated processor, you confirm that you checked compatibility and understand the risks of third-party updates. To let you verify the vehicle at checkout, the VIN and serial sent by the app are stored in the session and shown only on the opaque-URL page; they are not part of the QR Code, URL or payload sent to Mercado Pago or Stripe. For any positive amount, the licence is activated only after the indicated processor confirms payment. An authorised courtesy is activated after accepting these terms without Mercado Pago or Stripe. Except where applicable law provides otherwise, there is no refund for a simple change of mind, loss of interest or incompatibility that could have been checked before purchase. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights or exclude legal liability for defects, breach of offer or compensable damage. To request cancellation, a refund or a transfer, write to contato@jconfig.app with the purchase details. Transfers are manual, require validation and retain an audit trail. A full refund, confirmed chargeback or dispute closed as lost revokes the licence when the vehicle next contacts the server; a partial refund does not revoke it automatically.
Individual discounts and courtesy
An authorised person may grant an individual percentage discount or a courtesy for a specific vehicle, applying the same percentage to the Premium amount offered by either processor. A courtesy is activated after accepting these terms without Mercado Pago or Stripe. For any positive amount, the licence continues to be activated only after confirmation from the indicated processor.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the app evolves. The date at the top shows the last revision, and relevant changes will be flagged on the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the user's domicile are elected to settle any disputes, as provided by law.
