By downloading or using JConfig you agree to what is written here. It is short and has no fine print: read it before installing.

By downloading, installing or using JConfig, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any point, do not install the app.
What JConfig is
An independent app for the Jaecoo 7 head unit, distributed directly from this site, with no app store involved. It is a personal project, not a carmaker's product.
We are not the manufacturer
JConfig has no link, sponsorship, approval or affiliation with Chery, Jaecoo, Omoda or DesaySV. The trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners and appear here only to identify compatibility.
Licence to use
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own vehicles. You may not resell, redistribute or charge for copies of the app, nor modify it or attempt to bypass the Premium checks.
Compatibility
The app was built for the Jaecoo 7 of the T1EJ line, with the DesaySV G7PH head unit and SOP4 firmware. Outside that combination it may not install, may not open, or may work only in part. Check compatibility before installing.
Road safety
Some of the settings the app stores and reapplies relate to driver assistance systems. Do not disable safety systems on public roads. Keeping the vehicle safe and road-legal is your responsibility, and no feature of the app replaces the attention of whoever is driving.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Manufacturer updates may break features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including data loss, head unit downtime or effects on the vehicle warranty. Your relationship with the carmaker and the dealer remains between you and them.
Premium version
The Premium version is not on sale yet. When it is, it will be a one-time payment with a licence bound to one vehicle, and the rules for purchase, refund and transfer will be published here before the first sale.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the app evolves. The date at the top shows the last revision, and relevant changes will be flagged on the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the user's domicile are elected to settle any disputes, as provided by law.
