How to find mine
On the head unit, open Settings and look for the system version. The firmware shows up as a code starting with G7PH; the SOP part tells you the generation. If in doubt, JConfig shows the OS version on its About screen once installed.
How to install
Four steps, about five minutes. You will need a computer and a USB cable.

Enable USB debugging
On the head unit, open Settings, go into the developer options and turn on USB debugging.

Connect the computer to the car
Use a USB data cable on the head unit port. Authorize the connection when the car screen asks, and confirm the device shows up in the list.

Run the install script
Download the APK and the script into the same folder and run the command below. The --elevate flag grants the permissions JConfig needs to hide apps and update itself.
./desayadb.sh install jconfig.apk com.frodrigues.jconfig --elevate - 4
Done
JConfig opens on its own at the end. From here it updates through the head unit itself, with no cable and no computer.
